There's not too much to remember here.
Not sure of my age, old enough to remember going more than one year, not old enough to fully understand what was going on. In fact, I still don't really know for sure. I should ask my mom about this one.
Every year around Christmas she would take us to the Phelps County Court House, she worked in the back/basement at the Phelps County Health Department. We would sit in the pews/seats for what seemed like forever. Santa would sit up front and read names. One by one kids would go up as their name was called to receive a wrapped present from Santa.
I really don't remember any specific gifts from the Court House, so I hope my mom didn't have a hand in picking them out for us! I assume they were given our names and ages and just picked gifts accordingly.
