There's not much here to say, but I thought it would be worth starting to blog about some things.
The faucet in the back yard was starting to leak and not shut off completely. I went to replace just the stem, similar to what I had to do for the front yard, maybe about a year ago.
Unfortunately, the internal seal piece was plastic and old, it twisted off and broke before I could get the stem out. Not too big of a deal, just went to Lowe's and bought and entire new faucet assembly. After I got it threaded in and tightened, now it was leaking at the coupler inside the house.
Then I bought a 1/2" PVC ball valve coupling. All the rest was relatively straightforward.
