Car wash in Hollidaysburg

The first time I drove our new to us car to work, the parking garage dripped some sort of calcium concrete substance on the roof, windshield, and trunk. I decided to take the car to the car wash that night to remove the corrosive stuff as soon as possible. 

I had two $1 bills and a $20 when I went over there. It costs $2.50 to start the car wash, and the bill changer doesn't take $20's. I was fully prepared to get $20 in quarters, but now I had to drive back home, get some more 1's and come back.

Now I've left a bunch of cash in the car. It's new to us, so I hadn't stocked it with cash yet. 

I've never really cared that much about the look of my car, but this one is new to us, so I'm going to try to take care of it. When I ran the wipers after work yesterday this really gross film was stuck to the windshield, so I could only imagine what it would do to the paint.

I hardly ever use the foam brush at the car wash, because I normally don't need it, and I'm concerned it might scratch the paint. The car looks great when I'm done and it's wet. I get home and all of the same salt spots are visible on the hood, roof, back window, and trunk.

So it's dark by this time and I start hand washing those spots in my driveway. It looked great this morning. I could've skipped the car wash all together.
