On the way to work one day I slowly passed through an intersection because there's a semi-truck that is basically just a large stack of cages is turned over on the side of the road. The most memorable and shocking part are the turkeys just standing in a group by the side of the road. This truck was delivering farm raised turkeys. They were a little hard to recognize as most of them were white. When I think of a turkey, they're black and dark brown.
The turkeys seemed completely content to just stand by the side of the road as cars drove past, even though they probably just experienced a traumatic accident and had to be slowly released from their cages.
